Submitting a Session in Call for Content
If you are considering submitting a session to an event hosted on Just Attend we have tried to make the process as simple and intuitive as possible. If an event is open for content submissions you will see this on their conference lobby page menu with the Submit Content menu link.
If you have previously used Just Attend before, you can login with your username and password and submit content. If you are a new user to Just Attend, you will first need to create a free account. The process will guide you through this.
Registration takes a few moments. Be sure to use a real email address as you will need to confirm this to activate your account.
When logged in you will see the Speaker Lounge. You have options to submit a brand new session or submit a saved session you have in your session library.
Submitting a New Session
When submitting a new session, be sure to add a session title and abstract. Choose which categories your session fits into and the duration of your session from the available options set by the conference organiser. Check the box "Save to my Session Library" if you want to reuse this session in other call for contents hosted on Just Attend.
Press Submit when ready.
Checking Submission Status / Editing Submission
You're able to make adjustments to your session whilst the session is awaiting review by the organiser. In the Speaker Lounge click on Submitted Sessions and then the All Submitted Sessions tab.
Click on Edit Details to edit your submission. The editing blade will load as follows
At this stage you are permitted to make changes to the session abstract only. You cannot change the session title or the categories you have submitted in. When you've made your changes, press Save Submission. Note: if you have saved this session to your session library, the session stored in your library will not be updated. Only the submission to the conference you're logged into is changed.
Withdrawing a Session
If you would like to withdraw your session, click Edit Details and then click the Cancel Submission button to remove your submission from the event.
Submit a Saved Session
You can also submit a session you have previously saved into your session library to the conference you are logged into by going to Session Library, selecting the session and pressing Submit Session
When submitted, you will be given an option to select the session categories and duration set by the event organiser, just like the submit new session workflow.
