Run Just Attend Kiosk In Kiosk Mode

If you are using Just Attend's Kiosk application for self service badge printing and on-site registration, you may want the Windows device to run in kiosk mode. With our software the built in UWP Kiosk mode in Windows 10 / 11 Professional will not work. Turning the Windows device into a kiosk has a lot of benefits for organisers. Without kiosk mode, attendees will have the ability to access the underlying operating system functions and could potentially close the application or leave it in an unsupported state for the next customer. Kiosk eliminates this risk and should the application close, terminate or otherwise crash during operation, it will be automatically relaunched into its logged in state.

To enable kiosk mode on Windows 10 / 11 you will need a third party application. We have tested our application with a product called "Secure Lockdown" from Inteset https://www.inteset.com/

You will need to purchase the single app lockdown license from them (currently $19.95 one time cost) for each terminal you want to use. (https://www.inteset.com/secure-lockdown-product-comparison-chart)

Install the software using the default setting supplied by the installer.

When you open the application, click on Master Application

Browse to the program directory and find the JustAttendKiosk.exe file from C:\Program Files (x86)\JustAttendKiosk

Check the Keep Running and Keep Maximized settings.

Next click on the System Lockdown tab.

Be sure to disable the following resources

When you are ready, enable secure lockdown. Be sure to set a password to unlock the system out of Kiosk mode first!

When enabled, once the system has been logged in, the Just Attend software will auto launch into its last saved state.
